Our level 3 CACHE accredited qualification develops the knowledge and the skills necessary for effective communication and how to identify development needs and support for individuals. Speech, language and communication skills are essential for learning and social and emotional well-being, therefore it’s important that practitioners understand what typical development looks like for different age groups.

1. Supporting SLC development
2. Support children and young people’s SLC skills
3. Supporting SLC development of children who are learning more than one language

Delivered by Specialist Early Years SEND Teachers who previously worked as a Local Authority advisor

Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is suitable for learners who envisage or currently have careers in such areas as healthcare, social work, nursing, counselling, early years and teaching.

What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be at least 16 years old with a minimum level 2 qualification (does not have to be SEND related)

How long will it take to complete this qualification?
This qualification will take less than one year to complete.
