Is your Team Teach accredited?

Our Team Teach courses are accredited through the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM). Team Teach has ICM Quality Award Centre certification. This is a nationally recognised ICM-QAC accreditation signifies that Team Teach follows ICM quality assurance procedures for delivering training in the prevention and management of challenging behaviour in health and social care and education settings. Having this accreditation shows our commitment to the highest standards in training provision.

The ICM is a not for profit, independent organisation that develops strategies and standards to help reduce, and where possible eliminate, the risk associated with incidents of challenging behaviours. The ICM works across all sectors and at all levels to achieve this aim. Our accredited intermediate and advanced Train the Trainer courses comply with quality assurance procedures for the prevention and management of challenging behaviour in health and social care and education settings.

How often are your Team Teach trainers trained?

Our trainers have an initial five day training where they learn how to become a trainer. Then every year, our trainers have to attend a two day training session to make sure they are kept up to date with all of the different legislations and for quality assurance purposes.

How long will it take for my certificate to arrive?

After your training is completed, we will submit your details to the relevant organisation (CPD/ Team Teach) within 24 hours. Certificates can sometimes take longer than usual, there are a lot of factors that can influence this. On average, you should be not be waiting more than three weeks for your certificate. If you are having any issues with this please do get in touch.

My training is not for another six months, so why do I have to pay within 14 days?

We require payment within 14 days in line with our terms and conditions which are displayed on the booking form which is signed by the customer at each booking. A lot of time, effort, planning and resources go into each training session which is why we require the money up front.

Furthermore, you are reserving a trainer for that particular session- which means that our trainer is fully booked on that day. Although we have three trainers, days like inset days are vey popular for whole school training so we like to guarantee this as soon as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations will be refunded as follows:
Greater than 10 working days prior to the course - 50% of the original invoice value including VAT, where applicable.
10 or less working days before the course - you will receive no refund.
In the event of any cancellation, you must pay any costs for which we are liable to third party suppliers, for example facilities, equipment or catering.
We reserve the right to cancel a course at short notice should events beyond our control make this unavoidable. If this should occur, participants will be offered a place on our next available scheduled course, or alternative dates in- house.
Delegates may reschedule to another public scheduled course. Rescheduling will be subject to an administration fee*.
Rescheduling must take place within 3 months of the original training date, subject to availability. We reserve the right to pass on any external costs caused by participant rescheduling. Rescheduling must be requested more than 10 working days before the course start date. Rescheduling within 10 working days of the course will be treated as a
Cancellation (see above). Delegates may substitute themselves on a course at no charge but must take full responsibility for ensuring that all course documentation is passed on and that the new Delegate meets the relevant prerequisites for the course.

What happens if I am unable to attend the training I have booked?

We understand that you cannot predict the day-to-day running of your provision, therefore if you are unable to attend please please get in touch as soon as possible to let us know. We will then offer you the next available date for the course.

When will I receive the training link? (applies to online training only)

You should receive your training link up to a week before the course starts. Please keep an eye on your junk mail as sometimes it can go into your spam. If you cannot find your link for whichever reason, please get in touch and we will send it to you.
